One of the bonuses of the Twin Ponds community is that we are friendly people. If you choose to join in the fun you are always welcome whether its a day on Lake Texomoa or fishing in one of our beautiful ponds, you will always feel at home at Twin Ponds.
The Twin Ponds community has many fun annual events in which residents, friends and family are welcome to attend and participate.
We love God and country here and we celebrate our Nation’s independence in a big way with the Twin Ponds Golf Cart Regatta.
This much anticipated annual event is a parade of over 100 custom golf carts that spreads out over 2 miles. Twin Ponds awards a $50 cash prize to the top 6 best decorated golf carts but everyone is a winner because we all live in the best country on earth!
Our 2nd event to celebrate Independence Day is the Mickey Brown Memorial 4th of July Fishing Derby. The fishing derby is where kids from ages 1 – 14 head out to one of our 6 beautifully stocked ponds to catch the biggest and the most bass and catfish! Nobody goes home without a prize on this super fun day!
